Designed in the 1970s, the Riva St Tropez was conceived as a modern response to the now famous Aquarama. The objective was to offer a boat with the similar efficiency, comfort, and iconic good looks, but easier to maintain and use. Built exclusively from fiberglass, the Riva St Tropez features sleek, classic, and elegant lines and with a deep V hull, entirely appropriate for med cruising.

This stunning, later, 9.62 metre 1984 RIVA ST. TROPEZ was restored to like-new condition in 2021, with engines removed and re-built. Powered by Riva Crusader Marine V8 R350 thermo electron petrol engines, showing under 1000 engine hours, with direct transmission in the shaft line with Velvet Drive type transmission, reduction ratio 1.1 with upgraded electronic ignition. The propulsion is controlled by classic Riva instrumentation, throttle and gear levers . The electrical system is 12 V D.C with three rechargeable batteries from the alternators of the right and left engine with fuses to protect the various lines positioned under the dashboard, and two battery switches can completely disconnect all users from the batteries with the exception of the two automatic bilge pumps. Also benefitting from an In-Charge remote system, monitoring battery, bilge, temperature and intrusion.

Below deck, there is a useful cabin with two V-shaped beds with an electrically operated heads in the centre, also perfect for storage. On the bow deck, in a special compartment, there is an electric winch operated from the helm position with a stainless steel anchor. On the stern is a removable ski towing tube and the two fuel filler necks. Four removable stainless steel poles provide support for a full canvas bimini.

This Riva St Tropez it is in superb condition mechanically, electrically, and aesthetically and has recently had the hull professionally painted to a very high standard. Currently dry stored in Menorca, Spain having been being used and enjoyed through the summer season.
